What's free, and what you pay for

Setting up your business, adding clients, making drafts and previewing PDFs are free. A subscription lets you issue and share as many invoices as you need while it's active. There are two plans:

• Monthly: billed every month.
• Yearly: billed once a year.

Prices are set in the App Store and depend on your country. ktak shows them as the App Store provides them, and the App Store confirms the price and billing period before you pay. If a free trial or introductory offer is available to you, the terms are shown before you confirm, and the regular price applies afterwards unless you cancel.

Renewal and cancellation

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.

Manage or cancel in Profile → Subscription → Change or cancel plan, or in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting ktak doesn't cancel your subscription. See Apple's guide to cancelling. Apple handles refund requests through reportaproblem.apple.com.

If your subscription ends

Everything you've issued stays in ktak to share and track. You can still mark invoices sent or paid and issue credit notes. Issuing new invoices, including a replacement for a cancelled one, is paused until you subscribe again. Your drafts are kept.

Your invoices and your responsibilities

ktak helps you prepare invoices and credit notes. Before you issue one, check your business and client details, prices, tax rates and treatment, dates and payment instructions. ktak doesn't decide your tax obligations, file tax returns, submit invoices to government e-invoicing systems, or collect payments from your clients.

Issued invoices are final and can't be edited. To correct one, ktak issues a full credit note linked to the original. Marking an invoice sent or paid records a date and doesn't change the issued PDF.

Your records are stored on your phone. Export backups and keep them as long as your business needs to. Recovery copies on the phone can't help if you lose it or delete the app, and restoring a purchase restores your subscription, not your invoices.
