Your invoices.
Your business.

Effective 22 September 2026

ktak stores invoice content on your device. Purchases use Apple and RevenueCat. Optional usage analytics is off until you choose to enable it.

This notice covers the ktak iPhone app and this support website. Raf Tadevosyan, operating ktak, is responsible for the personal data we process. Contact support@ksak.app for privacy questions or requests.

Invoice data stays local

Business details, customer details, line items, bank/payment instructions, invoice PDFs and your business logo are stored in ktak's local database and files on your device. We do not receive this content through the app. There is no ktak account or app-managed cloud sync.

When you share a PDF or export a backup, you choose the destination. The recipient or storage provider then handles that copy under its own terms. Your device's system backup may also include app data according to your Apple settings.

Invoices stay on the device until you delete the relevant data or uninstall the app. ktak keeps up to seven daily local recovery copies when it is used. These copies rotate; they do not expire your invoice history. Exported backups and shared PDFs remain wherever you saved or sent them until you remove them there.

Keep a backup outside the app. Local recovery copies are on the same device. They cannot protect your records if you lose the device or uninstall ktak.

Purchases and subscription access

Apple processes payments. ktak does not receive your payment card number or Apple Account password. RevenueCat helps verify purchases, restore access and understand subscription performance.

RevenueCat processes an anonymous app customer ID, purchase and subscription history, product identifiers, transaction dates/status, app/device version information and locale or currency information needed by its service. An anonymous ID is not an app login, but it can connect purchase activity across sessions. We do not attach your invoice content, name or email to this ID.

We use purchase records to provide the subscription you request, restore access, address billing problems and prevent misuse. We also use subscription reports to understand sales, renewals and refunds. Purchase processing is necessary to perform our contract with you; protecting and improving the reliability of the service is our legitimate interest.

Subscription records are retained while needed to administer access, respond to refund or support issues and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Uninstalling ktak does not erase records held by Apple or RevenueCat and does not cancel a subscription. Contact us to request deletion of records we control; information required for legal or financial record-keeping may need to be retained.

Read Apple's privacy policy and RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Optional usage analytics

Basic Firebase/Google Analytics usage measurement is off by default. It runs only if you enable it in ktak Settings. We rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it in the same place without affecting paid features.

If enabled, analytics records steps such as starting an invoice, viewing a preview or paywall, requesting export, purchase outcomes and successful PDF generation. It may include a random app-installation identifier, app/OS version, basic device information, event times and coarse service-derived region information. No advertising identifier or advertising integration is enabled.

We do not send invoice numbers, amounts, customer or business names, addresses, email, line descriptions, bank details, PDFs or backup contents to analytics. Analytics is used to understand which parts of the app work and where people encounter problems, not for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Turning analytics off stops future optional event collection. Previously collected records follow the analytics service's configured retention and deletion process. We keep identifiable event-level information only for the period needed to diagnose app usage and assess releases; aggregate statistics may remain after underlying events expire. Contact us for a request about existing analytics records. See Firebase's privacy information and Google's privacy policy.

Support and this website

If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to send. We use this to answer your request and retain correspondence while needed to resolve it, handle follow-up or meet legal obligations. Our legitimate interest is providing effective support; some requests also relate to providing your subscription.

Please avoid sending invoice/customer information unless it is needed to investigate an agreed issue. This website has no advertising, optional analytics, sign-up form or app invoice upload. Our hosting provider processes technical requests, including IP address and browser/request information, to deliver and protect the website.

Service providers and international processing

Apple, RevenueCat, Google/Firebase, and our email and website hosting providers handle the information described above. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to address fraud or a security incident.

These providers may process information outside the UK. Their published privacy and data-processing terms describe the locations and safeguards they use, including contractual protections where applicable. You can contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.

Your choices and rights

  • Invoice records: export a backup before deleting data. Uninstalling the app removes its local records; copies in Files, other apps, messages or system backups must be managed separately.
  • Analytics: enable or disable optional analytics in ktak Settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
  • Purchases: manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. Restore Purchases restores access, not invoices.
  • Data requests: ask us for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of data we control, where those rights apply. Include the anonymous support/customer ID from ktak if the request concerns subscription records. Never send your Apple Account password.

You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Email support@ksak.app and explain your request. We may need enough information to verify and locate the record. We cannot retrieve local invoices from our servers because we do not receive them.

You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. We do not use your information to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Changes to this notice

We will update the date on this page when the notice changes. If a change requires a new choice or consent, we will present that in the app before the relevant optional processing starts.
